This talk will describe the goal of the European Data Incubator project and its role to foster entrepreneurship around the exploitation of Broad Data, i.e. the mix of Open Data, Social Data and corporations-owned datasets. EDI supposes an opportunity for new startups adopting Open Source tools to handle humongous datasets and address the real needs and challenges of big corporations.
