LIBRECON powered by CEBIT has placed for sale through its official website the different types of tickets to attend this reference event in open technologies which will be held on 21 and 22 November at the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao. The official website of the event offers two forms of access, the standard ticket and the premium ticket, which have different privileges. The tickets can be acquired at their lowest price until 31 October through the event’s official website. After that date, the amounts will be updated.
The organization committee of the forum is currently putting the finishing touches to the final configuration of its programme, but many of the contents that will be hosted by LIBRECON powered by CEBIT have already been published and the presence of various prominent speakers has been confirmed, like the founder of the free software movement and creator of the GNU project, Richard Stallman, the country manager of Red Hat for Spain and Portugal, Julia Bernal, or the general manager of OSADL, a German organization to promote and coordinate the development of open source software for the machine and automation industry, Carsten Emde.
The application of the open technologies to industrial sector will be the focus of many of the talks and presentations of the eighth edition of LIBRECON, along with other strategic sectors for the economy, such as the public administrations and finance, areas that will also be prominent in the event.
In addition to the focus on the latest developments in open source terms in these sectors, LIBRECON will also encourage the exchange of knowledge and business opportunities thanks to the programmed workshops and the spaces dedicated to networking.
Registration process
In order to register for LIBRECON, you need to complete a form in which, in addition to providing the personal details of the person concerned, information will be gathered on the attendee’s interest in participating in the networking meetings with other participants.
The cost of the registration will depend on the date on which it is made and the type of ticket, with two options to choose from, standard or premium.
The standard ticket will provide access to the conference area and the exhibition area, and their holder can enjoy coffee in the room authorized for this purpose; It costs 60 euros until 31 October. Between 31 October and 16 November, this pass will then cost 90 euros, and between 17 and 22 November, 120 euros.
The premium registration, in addition to all the benefits associated with the standard ticket, will provide additional advantages, such as access to the business area or participation at the lunch that will be held on 21st. Until 31 October, the ticket has a reduced rate, thanks to which it will cost 125 euros. Between 31 October and 16 November, its price will be 180 euros, and its final price will be 210 euros if it is acquired between 17 and 22 November.
Free tram for sustainable mobility
The Euskalduna Conference Centre, in the centre of Bilbao, has a strategic location, ideal for the purpose of hosting an international event, like LIBRECON.
The venue chosen to host LIBRECON powered by CEBIT, as well as being reference for events in Euskadi (The Basque Country), has excellent communications via public transport. The Euskalduna Conference Centre can be accessed by metro, as Moyua and San Mames stations are very close to the venue, by bus through the Bilbao urban lines (26-56-62) and the interurban bus, or tram, which crosses the city’s most important arteries.
In order to promote sustainable mobility and thanks to an agreement reached with Euskotren, all those attending the event, whether premium or standard, can use the tram for free from 20 to 22 November, the dates of LIBRECON. For this purpose, and if it is requested by the tram staff, the ticket must only be shown to the event.
